Activities

Your team of 8 rebel alliance soldiers must infiltrate the Deathstar to locate and rescue princess Leia while being careful to avoid the blaster fire of Vader’s storm troopers. Your team will be equipped with 7 blasters, a sniper rifle, laser grenade, and medic kit. Play as the Rebel alliance or the Stormtroopers.

The Afters have over 10 million views on Youtube including numerous #1 hits like Never going back to ok, Light up the Sky, Start over, and You lift me up. They have recently played the Rose Garden with the Rock and Worship show and will be headlining our Friday night concert.

Located right here in the Northwest, we are proud to welcome “Above the Golden State” to headline our Saturday night concert. Perhaps you’ve heard their singles, At the Sound of Your name, or I’ll love you so, or maybe Gaze into your eyes. Lead singer Michael Watson also leads worship regularly at Solid Rock Church right here in the city.

All the way from Atlanta Georgia, we are pleased to announce Jared Herd as our main session speaker. Jared travels the continent sharing the hopeof Christ with a humorous and captivating approach that has reached thousands of teenagers and college students. He also is the creative director of XP3 and his written “More Lost Than Found”.

Last year Mario kart was a mudfest, so this year Mario is taking it to outer space. Find three friends that are handy with the astro blaster and take your cart through our PAVED course avoiding villains and obstacles alike. This ride is inspired by Buzz Lightyear’s astro blasters. Get ready for a tougher test because there’s no mud to slow us down.

The year is 2034, and North America has falled into ruin. A one world government has taken over and has starved the 12 districts of food. With only your paintball marker and cunning wit to aid you, will you be able to evade the marauding gangs and locate food? Come explore the fall of man in our own version of “The Hunger Games”.

You like Limos, you like Frosty’s, so why not have a Limo Frosty Run? This is your chance to take a free Limo ride with 22 of your closest friends all the way to Wendy’s where you have the option of ordering a $1 Frosty for yourself. We’re increasing capacity this year to accommodate demand.

Weather permitting, we are very excited to offer free hot air balloon rides right here on our campus during Spring Thaw 2012. Come and experience the thrill of lighter than air travel. If you’re interested, pray with us for calm winds and no rain☺ Find His Sky on Facebook.

Following last year, we received numerous requests to bring back “That band from Sunday” and so we are excited to invite Scott Miller to lead worship for Spring Thaw 2012. Scott originally comes to us from Palm Desert, California and now leads worship at Abundant Life Church in Happy Valley.

Saturday afternoon we welcome Dr. Garry Friesen, Dr. Brad Harper, Dr. Ray Lubeck and Worldseen, Prof. Ben Sand, Dr. Debbie Miller, and Prof. Dave Jongeward. This will be your chance to ask some deep and difficult theological questions to individuals who have studied and grappled with these questions for years.

A psychedelic space age, ‘Girls Only’ event. Zoom through time into the lights and glamour of the future for first class, ultramod treatment. Be transported to the moon and let our space age specialists pamper you and your friends at the Lunar Lounge.

Just up the hill from Multnomah sits Central Bible Church and Sk8 Church. They have agreed to give us a Skateboarding Demo Friday night at 9pm. Come see some rad skateboarding tricks including the famed “Ring of fire”.

You want a place to hang out with friends between sessions, maybe listen to some music, eat some food, play some card games, sing some Karaoke, or watch Spring Thaw’s Got Talent. Escape the rain at Jonny Rockets.

Back by popular demand, the XBUS has 16 networked XBOX 360’s for you to get your game on. Challenge your friends to a little friendly competition on the racetrack or in the field. Check them out here.

This year we’re going to have a number of sports including Soccer, Basketball, Ultimate frisbee, Volleyball, Octagon Dodgeball, and, wait for it….. Street Hockey. So if you like sports bring your Nike/Rebook/Under Armor gear because you’ll have a chance to bring it at Spring Thaw 2012.

Let’s be real, You’ve never experienced true persecution, yet Christians all over the world risk death and torture if their faith becomes known. Operation Underground will give you a chance to live that experience. This event may get intense and is recommended for students Grade 11 or older.
